The Full Story

About

We are a startup company that seeks to offer web/mobile based solutions for companies, institutions and more importantly to residents living in informal settlements.
By utilizing technology that is available both hardware and software we have found an innovative way where users won't have to rely on data connectivity to have content delivered to their mobile devices. We hope by doing this we will be able to improve the social economic status of people in informal settlements.

WHAT WE SEE

Where others might see poverty and lack of social amenities, we see a vibrant market that is waiting to be tapped all we have to show the residents is value for their shilling. An estimated 60% of Nairobi’s population live in informal settlements, which is about 2.5 million people:

These informal settlements are spread across around 200 settlements, which occupy only 6% of the city’s land. The largest informal settlement in Nairobi is Kibera, which is home to about 250,000 people. This is a market waiting to be unlocked with the right product or service.
